Wednesday, May 27 - Completion ceremony and 8th grade dance (6-7:30pm)
Plan A - Outdoor Ceremony for all 9:30am BYO seating Plan B - Indoor Ceremonies KMMS Gymnasium
Create & “Inspire A-G” 9am “Inspire H-Z” 10:30am
8th grade students may sign out for the day after the ceremony.
Health room medication for 8th graders can be picked up before or after the ceremony.
Thursday, May 28th - There is no school for 8th graders

The youth volleyball program is offering a boys and girls sand volleyball league/clinic for grades 5-8 (25-26 school year). This camp will be directed by Jess Huber, Assistant Varsity Coach for the KMHS boys volleyball team. The goal of the camp is to promote the game of volleyball in a positive, learning environment with emphasis put on volleyball skills, strategies and game playing. All library books are now PAST DUE! Students, you can use your KMSD school email to log onto the MS Library website to see what books you may still have.
Can't find your overdue books? - Please double check your backpacks, your lockers, your family cars, your bookshelves at home, and check your lockers again. Fines will be assessed this week for any books not returned to the library.
(ALSO. please do NOT return your CLASSROOM BOOKS to the library ... be sure to give those books back to your teachers.)
Sorry! - n more book checkouts for this year! But SORA is always available! There are e-books, audio books, and magazines. You can log into SORA through the KMMS library homepage. See Mrs. Akers or Mrs. Ottenad if you need assistance logging in. SORA is a great way to read throughout the summer or listen to books on road trips!

Book Club is Hosting a Book Drive |
KMMS’ Book Club is hosting a book drive from May 11-22! We are looking for donations of old books, magazines and DVDs. All donations should be mold-free, usable, and odor-free. Bins will be set up for donations in the cafeteria and front hall starting Monday, May 11, and the collection will be donated to the Milwaukee Public Library Foundation. If you have any questions about donations, feel free to contact Sofia K at kliesof@kmsd.edu! |

The Learning Lab is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the library. All students not going to the Learning Lab must have rides arriving prior to 3pm. Only those students may wait in the vestibule just inside the front doors. |
